Recycled Art Gala

On October 29th, 4th grade DreamWorks PBL students hosted a Recycled Art Gala for the school in partnership with Mrs. Sam Pouncey, Sandlapper's art teacher. Students raised almost $600 for Sandlapper's recycling program. Students were able to donate $50 to Sandlapper's Art Department, $50 to Ms. Allen's service learning efforts in Africa, and $25 to purchase a meal to thank our amazing custodians for all of their help with our recycling efforts. We will use the remaining money to send the 4th grade DreamWorks PBL students on a recycling field study to Richland County Recycles Day on May 16th!
